We are delighted to announce the “Symposium on the Importance and Future of Water Resources in the Perspective of Climate Change — HİDRODER’2027”, to be held on 24–26 June 2027 in İzmir, Türkiye, hosted by the Department of International Water Resources (USKB) at İzmir Institute of Technology (İYTE) in collaboration with the Association of Hydrogeological Engineers and Water Resources Research (HİDRODER).
Supported by the strong scientific research infrastructure of İzmir Institute of Technology, the professional expertise of HİDRODER, and the natural, cultural, and academic environment of İzmir, we would be honoured to welcome you to HİDRODER’2027.
Detailed information on symposium registration, abstract and paper submission, and important deadlines is available on the symposium website. We warmly invite you to contribute to the symposium with your valuable work.

30 January 2027: Deadline for abstract submission.
28 February 2027: The evaluation of abstracts by the committee and feedback regarding the status of papers to the corresponding authors will be provided after 28 February 2027.

For participants who are not HİDRODER members: 1,500 TL
For student participants: 500 TL
Participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodation.
The IZTECH Life Center (İYTE Yaşam Merkezi), located within the IZTECH Gülbahçe Campus, is the recommended accommodation option due to its walking-distance access to the symposium venue. Information on room options, reservations, and contact details is available on the official IZTECH Life Center website. IZTECH Life Center
Alternatively, participants may choose to stay at hotels or guesthouses in Urla town center, which offers a variety of accommodation options within a short driving distance of the campus. As accommodation availability may be limited, early reservations are strongly recommended.
Symposium Venue
The HİDRODER’2027 Symposium will be held at Building C of the Faculty of Engineering, Department of International Water Resources, at the Gülbahçe Campus of the İzmir Institute of Technology (İYTE).
Public Transportation
Public transportation is available to the IYTE Campus from both the Izmir city center and Adnan Menderes Airport.
Participants:
Participants can use the ESHOT 982 (İYTE – Fahrettin Altay Transfer Center) and ESHOT 883 (İYTE – Fahrettin Altay Transfer Center Express Line) buses, which serve the campus.

Travel by Private Vehicle
Participants arriving by private vehicle may use the parking areas within the IYTE Campus free of charge.
